The Occupational Safety & Health Association (OSHA) estimates there are 70,000-80,000 serious fires in the workplaceevery year. About 5,000 employees are injured in these fires and tragically, about 200 employees die. Property losses from office fires surpass the $2 billion mark annually. 85% of office fires are caused by factors linked to human actions like leaving a candle unattended as opposed to catastrophic equipment failure.
